I always dive in and never get around to posting a review... I love this place. Best Mexican food in Beverly, and on the North Shore as a whole. Everything is bright, well-seasoned, over-portioned, and fresh. The birria, queso, and churro are a must, but truly, I've never been disappointed.
I just love this place! Staff are lovely and I’ve never had slow service, the food is always incredible, and they have the best margaritas - super fresh, not too sweet. I’m always bringing people here, I can’t recommend it enough
Huge portions! The guac is the biggest than any other store and the churros come with ice cream. The nachos have enough toppings and not too much cheese.
We've been regular take-away customers at El Jalisco but had never dined in until recently. The dining room is quite small & often filled, but we were able to call two days in advance for a table for 5 & they were able to accommodate. Much of Mexican cuisine is similar up & down the nation - all of it vastly better that the Tex-Mex immitation most Americans grew up calling Mexican - but the regional differences are well worth appreciating. Here, the Jalisco region stands as tall as any of those better known and El Jalisco.Mexican Grill seems to represent it well. Ingredients are fresh, preparations are consistently tasteful, service is attentive but not hovering or hurrying, & prices are entirely reasonable.

Excellent! Hubbs and I got food to-go. Chicken and steak fajitas were great! The meat was tender and very flavorful. The peppers and onions were wonderfully grilled. Beans, rice, sour cream and guac. Four grilled, warm tortillas. Yum! Cheese quesadilla was nicely grilled with sour cream and guacamole on the side. The Mexican Street Corn was super tasty, but I would have preferred the corn on the cob a bit more al dente. Finished off dinner with their Tres Leches cake. It was good. Hubbs particularly liked the cake. Overall, a very good experience, especially for take out. Larger than expected portions. Hot, fresh food. We will definitely order from Jalisco's again!
Im so glad we found this Mexican restaurant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating!! The steak is very tender. The most flavorful guacamole we have ever had! The pork belly taco salad is so so good. All their sauces are delicious.
This is a great place. Stopped by to kill some time while we were in Beverly. The staff was amazing. You can tell it is an authentic place because of the amount of Latino's making their way there. By the way the Margaritas are excellent
